Stephen King; King OF Horror
Stephen King is an American horror writer known as King
of horror because of his dark works.
Stephen’s story is so touchy and inspirational as he arise
from a very dark environment.
How Stephen was raised by single mother? How he handled
mental challenges and nightmares after witnessing his friend’s death? How and
why he started writing? How he grew by every passing day? And what are his
accomplishments?
Stephen King was born in poverty and financial crisis and
his father left his family forever with an excuse of buying a packet of
cigarette. His mother raised him with his brother and her parents all alone by
herself working most of the hours of the day.
Stephen was not raised in a normal environment as he had so
many mental challenges and nightmares as an adult; moreover, he had witnessed
death of his friend with train that gave him tough times and made him have
darker works.
He was an avid fiction and horror reader from school years that
made him start writing for fun and get it published in local newspapers and magazines
through which he earned a small amount of money and won the Scholastic Art
and Writing Award as a teen.
He persevered reading and writing and kept learning and
growing by every passing day. He has written 54 novels and some famous
short stories that sold more than 350 million copies overall; more
importantly, most of his works are pictured for fiction and horror viewers.
He is awarded most precious awards in the world and some are
listed below:
Alex Award, American Library Association, Hugo Award, International
Horror Guild Award, World Horror Grandmaster and So on.
