A.P.J Abdul Kalam; The Man Who Dedicated His Entire Life For General Interest
A.P.J Abdul Kalam was an aerospace scientist, author,
professor and elected president of India from 2002-2007.
A story of lifetime dedication for public interest and
general benefit.
How a person from a small village became the elected
president of India? How he kept overcoming hardships? Why he dedicated his
entire life for public interest? How many honorary award was he awarded?
A.P.J Abdul Kalam was born to a Tamil Muslim family in India.
Firstly, his family was rich and boat owners but went into crisis and failed
miserably; moreover, Kalam started selling newspapers from an early age and contributed
his income to his family.
A.P.J Abdul Kalam was known as a bright and keen student
from childhood who had a thirst for education especially for mathematics and he
graduated from university with a degree from Physics.
He joined Defense Research and Development Organization
of India and started working there with full dedication and a dream of
inventing missiles for his country. After several attempts he and his colleagues
could finally invent and launch Agni and Pokhran II missiles for
his country.
He was awarded Bharat Ratna the highest civilian
award, Von Barun Award, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibushan and several
other honorary awards for his works.
He authored India 2020 and Transcendence; my
spiritual experiences with Pramukh Swamiji which are published.
He died on July 27, 2015 and was buried with full honor in
his hometown.
Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe
