Pablo Picasso; Best Artist Of The 20th Century & An Artist Whose Art Works Sold For $ 179.3 millions
Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist who was an expert in
painting, print making, stage designing, play writing and writing poems and he
spent most years of his life in France. He is considered as one the best artist
of the 20th century who also had a huge role in finding the cubist
movement.
Picasso was born in a middle class family and his father was
a painter by profession and was working as an art professor at schools. Picasso
was trained professionally by his father and at age 13, he was drawing
amazingly and his father gave up painting after noticing his son’s work and
enrolled Picasso in one of the finest art schools but he lacked discipline.
Picasso is considered to have 50,000 plus fine art works;
interestingly, most of his art works were created by him under artificial light.

dollars, Dora Maar au
Chat (Dora Maar with a cat) was sold for $ 95.2 million dollars, Nu au Plateau de Sculpteur (Nude, Green leaves
and bust) was sold for $ 106.5 million, Les Femmes d'Alger (Woman
with Algiers) was sold for $ 179.3 million dollars and there are some more
paintings by him that were sold for millions of dollars.
