Ma Yun known as Jack Ma, is the richest person in Asia and 14th richest person in the world with the net worth of US $ 41.8 billion, is a Chinese business magnet who was born in a small city named Hangzhou in China. He is the founder and executive officer of Alibaba group which is the world’s fifth largest internet based company. Jack Ma learnt English by giving free tours to the tourists visiting his city and he did it for 9 years and the name Jack Ma was also given by one of his foreigner friends as his Chinese name was hard to pronounce. Jack Ma faced 30 job rejections that one person could hardly bear; for instance, he was rejected by KFC and from police department. He also faced so many other rejections from universities and colleges. He started his career by making websites for Chinese companies as he made a fortune from his business. He launched Alibaba group with his 18 friends in 1999 with 500,000 Yuan (Chinese currency). Alipay, Aliexpress.com, 1668.com, Juhansuan, Alibaba cloud computing, eTao, Tmall and Taobao marketplace are the part of Alibaba group. Jack Ma is a role model for all business persons worldwide as he is a self-made billionaire.
