Eiffel Tower, Paris; A Dream Tower For Everyone To Visit In The Life Time
The Eiffel tower is a wrought iron (an iron with a very less
amount of carbon) made tower on the Champ De Mars in Paris, France whose
construction started in 1887 and was completed within 2 year, in 1889.
The tower is named after the engineer Gustave
Eiffel who designed and completed this mega structure in the 19th
century and it was the tallest mega structure in the world till 1930. It is a
cultural structure and mostly couples and lovers visits it annually and
according to a research 6.91 million tourists visited this place in 2015.
The height of Eiffel tower is 324m (1,063ft) with three
levels of visiting area inside the tower. The first two levels can be reached
by stairs and there are restaurants and the third area for visitation is
reachable via elevator which is only for observation through; more importantly,
one can observe the entire dream city of Paris and this is the highest
observation area in the European Union.
Eiffel tower was constructed in the 19th century
where we had no advancement in architecture and in the construction field but
72 individuals made it possible which includes scientists, mathematicians and
engineers whose names are engraved on the iron bars of the tower in recognition
of their contribution.
The tower is repainted every 7 years to avoid rusting and it
is maintained by a tourist company. 250 million persons have visited this place
after its construction and it is a symbol of creativity and innovation that
created history.
