Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a Colombian singer,
songwriter, dancer and record producer. She began singing American, Arabic and
Latin songs from her school years; along, practicing belly dance.
Shakira’s journey is all about committing to become
successful beside all the hardships.

were playing and had a very bad condition and she was told that she still had a
better condition and should be thankful of it. She took an oath to become
successful in life and she started working very hard. Shakira was rejected from
high school music group and she was told that she sounded like a goat;
in contrast, she kept envisioning her destiny and worked harder and harder.
Shakira’s first two albums failed miserably but she never
stopped upto the time she gave hit albums and her songs got 1 billion plus
views and she became the highest
selling artist of Colombia.
Shakira got many awards including MTV award for best
music video, Grammy awards and Billboard music awards; moreover, her net
worth is $ 220 million USD.
After performing her Waka Waka song for FIFA world cup in
2010, Gerard pique, a Spanish professional football player
who plays for FC Barcelona and Spanish national team, fell in
love with her and they got married and now they have 2 children.
